Willie Owens and Corseford School Art is an exhibition presenting the artwork of current pupils at Capability Scotland‘s Coresford School, alongside the work of Willie Owens, an ex-pupil of Corseford School who became a very prolific artist. The exhibition celebrates his life and work has been influenced by his great spirit which pushed aside all obstacles
The work of current pupils has been made during their weekly sessions with Project Abilityartist Tracy Gorman.
This exhibition was originally presented in Lochwinnoch as part of Lochwinnich Arts Festival 2017, and will be on display in Project Ability’s 3rd Floor Project Space, 17 – 25 March 2017.
