From January to June 2019 Project Ability Artists and Tutors will be visiting schools throughout Central Scotland as Part of our ‘On the Road Schools’ Programme.
With thanks to generous support from Trefoil, Project Ability are offering 8 ASL schools and units across central Scotland the unique opportunity to work with our Artist/Tutor collaborators on a variety of exciting visual art projects. Our Aspire Artists are a talented group, many of whom have been attending our workshops for a number of decades, and have a wealth of experience and knowledge. This programme provides pupils with the opportunity to learn from some of Scotland’s most celebrated learning disabled artists.
The first of our 5 week projects are already underway with Hampden School and Barmulloch Primary School, with workshops lined up for Mary Russell School (Paisley), Newhills School, Ashton School and Sanderson High School (East Kilbride).
