Our Shop Item of the Week is this publication by Simon McAuley. Titled ‘Inside Outer Side out Inner’, this 99 page publication includes essays, texts and photos around the discussion of disability art and the term ‘Outsider Art’. Simon McAuley is a Glasgow School of Art graduate and an artist working in Project Ability’s ReConnect studios.
Over the past several months Simon has reached out to other artists and professionals asking them to give their view and opinion on the subjects. It is a fascinating compilation of various viewpoints and ideas. A must read for anyone interested in the terminology around the disability arts sector.
