The Connect programme is back as ReConnect and ReConnect is in full swing. It has been wonderful to welcome so many people back into the studio and to witness so much creativity.
Forty five people have signed up and paid to attend the new project two days a week.

We asked – “What’s it like being back?”
“Fantastic”
“Absolutely fantastic!”
“Great. Brilliant. Fantastic.”

And we asked – “What did you miss?”
“Coming here. People. The art. The environment.”
“The space, the materials, the people.”
“Painting and drawing and the company of fellow artists.”
ReConnect helps people in their journey of recovery from mental ill-health.
The passion and commitment voiced by the people who attend ReConnect demonstrates how making art can help maintain good mental health.
ReConnect is a positive, affirming arts project which provides: “space”, “safety”, “materials”, “other people”, “a sense of place”, “focus”, “looking ahead”, “light”.
