What a night it was! We would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to The Bluebells and to Monorail Music for inviting us to be a part of the band’s album launch last night.
Project Ability artists Lesley Nimmo and Doreen Kay created original artworks for the occasion: a large painting by Lesley, used as the stage backdrop, and text and portraits by Doreen, who has been a great fan of the band for years.
The people attending the launch very generously donated just over £300 to our organisation, and the band made sure Doreen had the time of her life: not only was she invited on stage to receive Ken McCluskey‘s whistle from the man himself, but she sang the chorus of Young at Heart too!
