After some interruptions to our normally scheduled programming, we’re delighted to say our Artwork of the Week is back! First up we want to highlight our current and first ever virtual exhibition by drawing your attention to this amazing large painting on canvas.
‘The Dark Knight’ is part of our ‘Flashback to February’ exhibition. It was painted by Aspire artist Christopher Newman in the weeks leading up to lockdown. We love the way the artist has created Gotham city in the background with a glowing horizon. Christopher Newman won’t have had the opportunity to work on anything this large since the Project Ability studios closed in March, but we do have some beautiful watercolours he has created which will be in our upcoming exhibition!
