This week our Artwork of the Week is this colourful textile piece by Aspire artist Judith Abubakar. We love the warm fuzzy palette and texture of this cross stitch, and it seems to be full of positivity and hope. We keep saying it, but Judith is yet another Project Ability artist that we have the privilege of knowing, and we are missing her infinite positivity and energy in the studios. It’s so nice to see what she has been working on. Judith works in a variety of mediums, and has exhibited ceramic pieces with us on several occasions. When working on canvas or paper it is likely that you’ll find glitter involved in the composition somewhere.
