Staying Local with visits to Street Level Photoworks and Glasgow Print Studio
Our walking group members always like to catch the exhibitions in our neighbouring galleries, so last week we visited Street Level Photoworks and Glasgow Print Studios.
‘Depth of Field’ is a group show of images by eleven photographers who were involved with the original formation of Street Level. Iseult, the Education and Development Coordinator welcomed us to the gallery and gave us an introduction to the artworks on show along with some background information. We had an interesting time identifying people and places in some of the photographs on display. There is lots of information including a 3D walk through of the show at Depth of Field – Street Level Photoworks The exhibition runs until 29th June.
In Glasgow Print Studios main gallery we were met by Claire, the Creative Director who introduced us to ‘Wait A Minute’ by Glasgow based artist Christian Noelle Charles.
