It’s been some year…… our exhibitions calendar didn’t go exactly as planned. However, we, along with so many others, have done our very best to make the most out of 2020. The output of creativity didn’t stop, in fact we have been thoroughly impressed with the output and quality of artwork we’ve seen being made since we closed our doors in March.
Normally our gallery is open all year round, and our exhibitions programme looks to share the work made at Project Ability with audiences across the globe! The pandemic didn’t entirely halt this, and we are proud to have achieved the following for our artists in 2020…
Project Ability has facilitated 97 different exhibition opportunities that have included the showing of 65 different artists. We’ve hosted 9 exhibitions at our Project Ability gallery, 3 pre-lockdown and another 3 virtually. We’ve supported our artists in exhibitions in 8 different places outside of the Project Ability gallery; 4 of these have been within the UK and 4 have been international exhibitions including Japan, South Korea, USA and Netherlands!
2020 was the shake up no one saw coming, and 2021 will probably bring some surprises too. But we will be here doing what we do, and we can’t wait to see you all again. Stay safe and stay creative!!!
