Cameron Morgan – Shetland visit

Aspire artist Cameron Morgan is currently visiting Shetland alongside our technician Jim. Cameron has been out walking and taking in the idyllic views to use as research for his print workshop with Gaada later this week! They’ve been sketching, taking photographs and networking with other local charities.

COPE

Thanks to a connection through SCLD, Jim and Cameron stopped by COPE to say hello and find out all about what COPE do. It’s been great to make new connections in Shetland and we are looking forward to seeing what projects we can work on together in the future. COPE is a social enterprise and charity which provides employment and skill development for adults with learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.

Gaada

Cameron will be completing a print workshop with our friends at Gaada during his visit. Artists from Gaada have previously exhibited work at Project Ability and it’s great to keep this connection going. Gaada is an artist-led organisation based in Burra Isle, Shetland. They believe art is for all and work with communities in Shetland to develop meaningful and critical art activities.
