Project Ability Aspire artists Doreen Kay and Cameron Morgan were invited along to the Capability Scotland Conference last week to draw live portraits for the attendees. It was an early 8am start for the artists and tutor Alison who attended alongside Doreen and Cameron. The event was held at the beautiful Radisson Blu and their table was busy the whole morning! Cameron and Doreen have both being doing portraits at events for a long time now and can finish a portrait in around 8 minutes! The response from the attendees was wonderful as usual.
Some of their models included a live illustrator who in turn did a drawing of Doreen, and the Chief Exec of Capability Scotland. The team managed to meet lots of new people and tell them about Project Ability and they also bumped into some old friends who had attended or been involved with Project Ability over the years.
