Our walking group artists have embarked on a new project! Moving forward, instead of visiting a variety of places they’ll be spending time at the Claypits Nature Reserve each week.
Situated next to the Forth and Clyde canal and close to the city centre, the Claypits is Glasgow’s newest park and was officially opened at the end of July. During their visits our artists will gather material to bring back to the studios – making drawings and photographs on each visit. The resulting artworks will be exhibited in our gallery early next year.
Our first visit was sun-soaked – here’s hoping our luck continues!
