Kiltwalk team 2021!

Kiltwalk Project Ability

We are looking for volunteers to walk (or run, or dance!) in aid of Project Ability. This year Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk will take place between the 23rd – 25th of April and we need your help!

The Kiltwalk are promising a very special Kiltwalk in April which will include a number of Virtual surprises for participants. Kiltwalkers are invited to don a bit of tartan and complete any socially distanced challenge they wish, from walking, running, cycling, hopping, skipping or jumping on a trampoline, to raise funds for the charity of their choice.

  • Due to Covid, the main KiltWalk in-person event has been canceled.Instead, people are encouraged to set their own challenge (this can be walking or running whatever distance you feel you can manage or even doing a fun family activity – it’s your choice)
  • You sign up online as normal (link below). There is a small registration fee. You can pick Project Ability as your chosen charity.
  • Whatever money you manage to fundraise will get a 50% top-up by the Hunter Foundation!
  • The ‘virtual event’ will take place on 23rd – 25th April. They are encouraging people to do their walk/ run etc over this weekend. If you needed to do your event on another date that would be okay also.

If you do choose to Kiltwalk this year in aid of Project Ability then we would love to hear from you. Drop us a message at info@project-ability.co.uk so we can support your fundraising journey!

With classes, exhibitions, events and our physical shop being closed since March 2020, we need the support and fundraising efforts of our whole community more than ever before. Please help us spread the word and we hope you can join us (virtually) in April for some Kiltwalk fun!
