Lockdown postcards by Jane Fisher

Today we are taking a look at two postcards mailed back to us by ReConnect artist Jane Fisher. As we have been discussing, our postcard project aims to help us stay connected to the artists who normally come to the Project Ability studios at Trongate 103. These blank postcards are addressed and stamped already, and we are asking the artists to send them back to us with a drawing or thought that we can share with our audiences online. The sentiment in these two postcards really hits home to many of us I’m sure, and the design and patterns are a pleasure to take in. Fisher’s artworks are a wonderful combination of arts and craft. Our online and gallery shop often features hand made notebooks by the artist, and other beautiful products she’s made. Our online shop is closed just now but hopefully not for too much longer. Thank you Jane for sending these postcards to us, they are a lovely addition to our collection!
