Last week, Venture Arts artist Terry Williams settled in our studios for a 3-day residency. Terry, supported by artist facilitator Martin Livesey, experimented with large scale paintings, oil bars and graphite, creating beautiful artwork.

After spending the day in our studios, the pair visited Glasgow, toured the open top bus and relaxed in local cafes.

When asked what he thought of the studio space, Terry replied with a big beaming smile: “It’s alright, yeah!” The artist really enjoyed painting, trying some new techniques and meeting new people. “It was nice, nice people”

It was a pleasure to see Terry at work, and we look forward to seeing him again this week, for the second and last leg of his residency.
