On Wednesday 17th July the Heritage Lottery Group were invited to attend a tour of Glasgow University. We arrived a little early so had time to visit the Hunterian Museum briefly. Lead by Claire and Cheryl from GMRC who we have been working closely with, we were shown the grounds before having afternoon tea. We met up with the group from Leverndale and despite the rain, toured the grounds of the main campus. We visited the chapel, the medical building and saw inside the main university building. Upstairs we enjoyed a rather lavish display of cakes and chatted about what we had seen and upcoming events in the ongoing project.
