We recently caught up with Anna, one of current volunteers! Anna volunteers each week in the Aspire group.
Since completing my bachelor’s degree in Glasgow I have followed Project Ability and loved the project and the work of the artists, consistently looking them up for inspiration. When I came back to Scotland to complete a Masters degree in Art Psychotherapy, it immediately made sense to me to look into volunteering with Project Ability and I’m so glad I did!
Working with the Aspire group on Friday mornings has been a joy. I have really enjoyed getting to know everyone and getting insight into all the different ways there are to make things. All the artist’s approaches are completely different and it’s clear they’ve been making things for a long time. I’m learning so much from them. – Anna
