Our walking group were invited to a community preview of the new exhibition at Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art. ‘Still Glasgow’ is part of the Glasgow 850 celebrations and is a selection of photographs from the Glasgow Life archives. After an introduction to the works from the curator Katie Bruce, we were invited to the workshop space for a sit down and some refreshments. There’s plenty of time to see the exhibition as it runs until 13th June 2027. Further information can be found at Still Glasgow – Glasgow Life
Next stop was the gallery in Cass Art to see an exhibition of works by Design Practice students at City of Glasgow College which included some pieces by Neslihan Kucukdemiral, one of Project Ability’s current volunteers .
This project is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
