Walking Group visit Harmonic Murmurs

Project Ability walking group popped in to visit the Glasgow Project Room to start off our most recent outing with Harmonic Murmurs, before venturing to the southside and visiting Tramway.

Michael Kent, who was volunteering with us earlier in the year, was exhibiting his work, ‘Harmonic Murmurs’ in the Project Room, so we went in to have a chat and see what he had been up to. From there we went out to catch a bus to the southside and walk across to Tramway to see the two exhibitions there. The first of these is ‘Dirty Dancing Flowers’ by Leanne Ross, who makes her artwork at KMAdotcom, a supported studio in Midlothian. From there we went into the vast space of Tramway 2 for ‘You are my kindred spirit’ by Maud Sulter.

We rounded off the visit with a short walk in the Hidden Gardens before taking cover from the rain and then making our journeys home.

‘Harmonic Murmurs’ will be open from 12:00 – to 5pm Thursday to Sunday and run until Saturday December 14

‘Dirty Dancing Flowers’ will run until 23 March 2023 and further info can be found at Leanne Ross – Dirty Dancing Flowers

‘You are my kindred spirit’, will run until 30 March 2025 and further info can be found at Maud Sulter – You are my kindred spirit
