Walking Group visit Stallan-Brand Gallery

Our walking group had some fine weather again last week and took a wander across the river to visit the current exhibition by Norman Sutton-Hibbert at Stallan-Brand gallery in Nicholson Street. It’s a lovely exhibition of small collage works, each one built on the foundation of a postcard from a place he has visited, creating a visual record of his impressions and memories of them.

Our group then headed back across the river via the South Portland Street Suspension Bridge. Someone suggested we visit the Cathedral of St. Andrew to see the artworks inside, but as there was a service in progress we opted to spend some time in the courtyard garden instead, taking some group selfies reflected in the mirrored sculpture.

Norman Sutton-Hibbert’s exhibition is open from 10-5pm Monday-Friday and continues until 24th May.
