Walking Group visit The Big Art Show at The Art Department
The Walking Group had their last outing on Wednesday 4th September. We returned to The Art Department in Paisley. We went to see The Big Art Show 2024, organised by Outspoken Arts.
Launching in 2022, this 3rd annual showcase features over a thousand artists, including many from Project Ability. Set over two floors in an old department store there was honestly too much to take in. It has a mix of everything, painting, glass, photography, mixed media and sculpture. It runs until November 16th and is definitely worth a visit, my personal suggestion to get the most out of your visit is to plan for spending a long time there and to possibly take a break between the two floors.
