We are delighted to be back at Mono once again with a brand new collection of artwork. This exhibition celebrates Learning Disability Awareness Week. The theme, “I Am Here… to be seen”, focuses on inclusion, being heard, and having strengths and rights valued.
We’ve interpreted this theme musically for this exhibtion at Mono, and invited artists to create work inspired by their favourite musicians. From Bonnie Tyler to Calum Beattie, we have an ecclectic array or singers and musicians being created in the studio!
Join us on Friday the 11th of September, from 3-4.30pm, at Mono, to celebrate with the artists!
Exhibiting artists:
John Cocozza, Marie Cocozza, Peter Curlin, John Duncan, Duncan Gray, Jude Hewitt, Ryan Jago, Doreen Kay, Tommy Mason, Jonathan McKinstry, Michael McMullen, Jamie Smith, Scott Smith, Paul Stokesley, Gary Turner.
