Travelling Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in a bus. Since 1978 it’s been bringing exhibitions to communities throughout Scotland.
We deliver an artistic programme which inspires and engages our wide audience. We curate experimental, diverse and inclusive exhibitions that are representative of Scotland’s changing population and lead to conversation and healthy discussion. We are proud that we are able to nurture and develop young talent and give them the opportunity to exhibit alongside established artists. Learn more on our Current Exhibition and Archive page.
Travelling Gallery is a ‘not for profit’ organisation, regularly funded by Creative Scotland and part of Museums & Galleries Edinburgh. We have pavement access for wheelchairs and we will continue to assure that our gallery meets the social model of disability, this includes street level and/or ramp access; hearing loop; subtitling and audio descriptions of films; and large print format exhibition interpretation.
