Margaret Booth, Untitled – Artwork of the Week #20

Next in our artwork of the week series, we are looking back to 2010 with Margaret Booth’s abstract painting from the exhibition No One Watching. Usually drawn to figurative painting, Margaret created this experimental piece with crowded hordes of small and large forms, sharp lines and coloured blobs that assemble or appear to radiate from distant nodules. This abstract landscape seems to pulse with constant movement and her abstract forms appear as gregarious life forms.
