Four Corners of the Studio

Project Ability is pleased to be exhibiting with Platform in Easterhouse! Platform celebrates 20 years in 2026, and we are delighted to have been part of their amazing journey!

We love exhibiting at Platform, on the big wall in the library. This year we are celebrating four artists from the Project Ability studios; Erin Keogh, Andrew McMillan, Struan Robb and Scott Smith.

Read about the exhibiting artists below. If you visit the exhibition, keep in mind there is a lovely cafe, swimming pool, theatre – all with regular events going on. You might find something else to enjoy while you’re there!

Artists,

Erin Keogh:

Erin Keogh is a young and expressive artist working from the studios of Project Ability, known for her vibrant abstract paintings that are rich in colour, texture and energy. Despite having complex support needs, Erin engages deeply with her creative practice, choosing colours, shapes and marks with joy and enthusiasm and exploring new effects with tools like roller sponges as her work evolves and matures. Her large, thoughtfully composed canvases have been featured in major exhibitions, including the collaborative touring show Abundance, celebrating artists with learning disabilities and neurodivergent artists, and reflect her commitment to artistic expression and personal growth. In April 2024, Erin also exhibited at Sotheby’s in London, as part of a group exhibition.

Andrew McMillan

Andrew McMillan’s paintings are inspired by his travels and experiences of different places; from holiday scenes to imagined destinations he hopes to visit, bringing a sense of adventure and rugged landscape into his work. His large-scale canvases, featuring the great mountain ranges of the world, capture the vast sublime nature of the landscape, while his fresh palette of blues and white add an even greater illusion of scale to these paintings. In 2025 Andrew exhibited in the three person show at Project Ability, Andrew McMillan, Cameron Morgan, Scott Smith.

Struan Robb

Struan Robb is a young and dedicated visual artist from Project Ability’s Create studios, where he has developed a striking painting style that often uses thick, richly textured paint to bring his subjects to life. He first gained wider recognition when one of his works was accepted into the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition and has since shown in solo and a two person show at Project Ability, Greg Coultas & Struan Robb. Outside his visual art practice, Struan is also a talented singer-songwriter and pianist, known for crafting beautiful, emotive ballads with lyrical vocals that showcase his creativity and passion across music as well as art.

Scott Smith

Scott Smith is a talented visual artist at Project Ability. Scott’s paintings often reflect his connection to the landscapes around Arran, the Scottish island where he grew up, with vibrant acrylic scenes that include its mountains and sea, bringing personal memories and a strong sense of place to life on canvas. He is a frequent exhibitor at the Project Ability gallery at Trongate 103. His work often draws from both life and memory, characterized by an elegant simplicity and an ability to imbue subjects with distinct charm and character. He is also very fond of bicycles which also often feature in his work. Scott works in paint, ceramics and print making and his work is very popular amongst our audiences! He recently exhibited in a three person show in the Project Ability gallery, Andrew McMillan, Cameron Morgan, Scott Smith.
