Our Artwork of the Week is once again an artwork from our current exhibition, ‘The Nature of Ideas’, and is part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. This week we’re looking at this gorgeous landscape painting by Reconnect artist Paul Marshall! This large painting is rich in colour and texture, and we love the big summer sky and the way the sea blends into the sky with all of the beautiful colours of the setting sun.
Paul Marshall has three large scale landscape paintings in this exhibition, and they can all be seen at the ‘Nature of Ideas’ exhibition page. They add a wonderful splash of colour to our gallery walls, and are an absolute breath of fresh air to take in. This is a virtual exhibition only. Inspired by nature, made during Lockdown, this exhibition is perfectly situated to welcome the nice weather and hopefully the return of some of the things we’ve really missed!
