Last week we had two special guests in our Friday Aspire workshop.
Internationally acclaimed Glasgow magician Jack Paton and his assistant/dog, Manfred, came by Project Ability, and they had a few tricks up their sleeve!
Jack performed some spectacular coin and card magic for the artists; lots of sleight of hand with flying cards and disappearing coins! The artists were asked if they would like to make some artworks and portraits in response to the magic. Manfred was an especially popular model with the Friday group.
It was an exciting and unusual way to end the Project Ability week, and we all really enjoyed ourselves! Many thanks to Jack for taking the time to share his magical artistic practice with us. You and Manfred are welcome back anytime!
