Become a Friend of Project Ability

Project Ability recently celebrated 10 successful years at Trongate 103 (and 35 successful years of Project Ability!) Two of our Create Artists, Michael and Harris, curated an exhibition of work from our archive rooms. The exhibition celebrated the skills, talent and opportunities that our workshops nurture for all our artists. On display there was everything from print, painting, sculpture, animation and video!

During the exhibition Project Ability relaunched their Friends programme, an opportunity to support our artists by giving a small monthly donation.

Demand for our services has never been higher but the challenges of funding mean we have long waiting lists of people who need our services. Our incredible Friends help keep our workshops open!

‘As a parent it is great to bring him to a place where he can feel safe and happy and can express himself through art.’

We are always delighted to welcome new Friends to Project Ability. If you feel this is something you would like to support with you can set up a direct debit through our LocalGiving page. It’s easy, secure and gives the option to include Gift Aid. You can find out more here.

If you are inspired to help, your regular gift will make a difference:

£5 per month:

Purchases a bag of clay for a multi-sensory art workshop for children with profound and complex disabilities

£7 per month:

Provides the materials for two of our artists to take part in an expressive art class, giving companionship, self-esteem and confidence.

£10 per month:

Contributes to funding a qualified tutor to lad a workshop in our studios.
