Meet the volunteer at Project Ability: Alex Warner!
Over the last few months we welcomed a group of volunteers to share their skills and work with the artists across the core workshops; Aspire, Create and ReConnect. This week we’re catching up with Alex to find out a bit more about his experience as a volunteer at Project Ability.
“I joined the Project Ability volunteer team in November 2022. Before that I was part of the Residency Programme in September and had a blast of a time and fell in love with Project Ability and the work they do and so I decided to apply to volunteer! I have learned so much since being with Project Ability, everyone is so lovely and welcoming to people of all different walks of life.
I would recommend volunteering with Project Ability to everyone! It has been such a treat to be working alongside such amazing creative artists and after every session I always walk away with a great big grin on my face, not to mention all the laughs during the workshops as well!” – Alex
A huge thank you to Alex for coming back to volunteer with us, the artists have had such a great time working alongside you. Keep in touch!
