The Reimagining Art programme works with autistic young people aged 16–25, through a series of five online sessions and fifteen in-person sessions, for those living in Glasgow and surrounding areas. Running from May to December 2025, the programme met fortnightly on Fridays at Project Ability. Participants had the opportunity to connect with autistic peers, build meaningful relationships and develop their artistic skills within an inclusive and supportive environment.
The programme aims to reduce barriers to participation in the arts and address social isolation among autistic young people. Through high-quality, member-centred activities, it supports participants to build confidence, wellbeing and creative skills through self-expression.
The exhibition opened on Friday 12 December, 1–4pm. The exhibition is open to the public on Tuesday 16 December, Wednesday 17 December and Friday 19 December, 11am–3pm.
