Guided tour at Ramshorn Graveyard
Our latest group outing was to visit the nearby Ramshorn Graveyard for one of their guided tours. These run weekly throughout the summer months and are led by volunteers. Our guide was David and he provided us with a fascinating tour full of interesting historical information and stories about some of the people interred in the grounds there.
The graveyard is a lovely oasis of calm in the heart of the city, with trees, plants and birdsong all around. Sadly it’s not possible to fully escape the sound of traffic but the surrounding buildings help to reduce the volume.
