Knick Knacks and Whatnots

'The Measure of Things' by Cameron Morgan & Charlie Hammond

Project Ability is pleased to present the work of three artists in our next show, ‘Knick Knacks and Whatnots’.

Marta Páramo is a Spanish artist working at Debajo Del Sombrero in Madrid. Her mixed media drawings are dense with heavy vibrant colours and mark making. We are delighted to be exhibiting some of Marta’s work for the first time at Project Ability!

Along with Marta’s abstract drawings, we will be showcasing the artworks made during the second collaboration between Project Ability’s Cameron Morgan and artist Charlie Hammond. To follow on from their exhibition last year titled ‘Danglers of Today’, Cameron and Charlie have picked up where they left off, examining further into their ideas of working with imagery of the different items one might find in their pockets. Yet again this pair have made some stunning designs and this new work further proves the two artists have a great working relationship with creative energies feeding off of one another.

Alongside this mix of work we will also be showing some new ceramics pieces Cameron has been working on this year.

Opening: Thursday 02 May, 6pm-8pm

Our Gallery II features an exhibition of work by John McNaught, This is me, in homage to…
