Paranoia by Paul Marshall is our artwork of the week.
Faceless figures are crowded together in the foreground. Behind them, homogeneous buildings reach up to touch the blazing sun and cool round clouds in the sky above.
The elongated people loom, intimidating. It embodies a feeling of being overwhelmed in crowded cities – the claustrophobia of being lost amongst strangers and big buildings.
Geometric shapes in the sky and the buildings create order in the chaos.
