Watercolour painting with Blue Room Inclusive Arts

On Friday, 7th March, we were thrilled to welcome artists from Blue Room Inclusive Arts in Liverpool to our Project Ability studios in Glasgow. They joined our Friday Aspire group for a fun-filled day of creativity, connection, and artistic exploration.

The studio was alive with energy as artists from both groups came together to experiment with watercolour printing. It was wonderful to see everyone dive into the process, sharing ideas and techniques along the way. Each artist created at least two beautiful prints, and the results were fantastic — full of colour, imagination, and personal expression.

This visit was extra special, as Blue Room – Studio Me is one of the exhibiting groups in our current show, Express Collaborations. This group exhibition has been curated by artist Tanya Raabe-Webber and celebrates creative partnerships between disabled artists.

A huge thank you to the Blue Room artists for joining us and making the day such a success. We love connecting with other inclusive art studios and can’t wait to collaborate again in the future!
