Our ‘On the Road’ team have been busy again, this time at Sanderson High School in East Kilbride.
Consuelo, Lisa and Jonathan worked with a group of first year pupils during Children’s Mental Health Week to create a colourful, oilcloth banner on the theme of ‘self’. Pupils explored portraiture and decorated the banner with self-portraits and imagery that represented their personal and collective identity. The banner was displayed in the school during parents evening and pupils were extremely proud of their achievements. Well done everyone!
Jonathan gave a great presentation of his work to the pupils and they will be joining him in the Project Ability studios soon for a tour of the workshops and gallery. We look forward to welcoming them on their first visit to Trongate 103!
