The Cat Speaks finds a happy home!

We posted back in the summer about Project Ability Aspire artist Doreen Kay having a piece of artwork accepted in to the highly prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. The show is over now and we are delighted to say that ‘The Cat Speaks’, Doreen’s wonderful embroidery artwork that was part of the exhibition, was purchased at the show and has found a lovely new home to be proudly displayed for years to come.

We were delighted to receive this picture from the buyer. Here she is at the exhibition with her purchase!

The new owner sent us a lovely message once she collected ‘The Cat Speaks’ from the Royal Academy,

” it just spoke to me, haha! I am really inspired by the work you create, and so honoured I got to buy this piece.

.. I’ve just picked it up and can’t wait to have it on display in pride of place at home. I am confident it will bring a lot of joy to everyone who sets eyes on it.

You can’t help but feel delight when you see it!”

In the image at the top of this page you can see the artwork in the very bottom left… what an amazing wall of art it was part of!

A big congratualtions once again to Doreen Kay, and everyone who had an artwork in the exhibition! This is a big accomplishment for both Doreen and Project Ability 🙂

We have a few more of Doreen’s embroidered artworks in our online shop!
