Create Art Club (Younger participants)
Following on from the success of our summer sessions, tutors Tracy and Susan will be ‘Zooming’ into the homes of our young participants to deliver fun and creative sessions for both them and their parents to enjoy together. Saturday was the first of 8 sessions for the Create Art Club.
To start the sessions the group was encouraged to look out for exciting textures on the surfaces of everyday items they have at home. Some fantastic objects were brought to the table with beautiful rubbings made of the surfaces to create some unexpected results!
Over the coming weeks, the group will continue to explore texture, creating their own printing blocks from household items and enjoying experimenting with the prints and surfaces they make when they are used with clay and paint.
It’s an absolute delight to see all these young artists connect again!
